9/22 - Safe Travel to Islands in the Visayas Area

Pray for a new outreach to the remote Island of Palawan which has 700,000
people. This place has two families who have asked for Bible Studies and
hopefully will be open to starting a new church. Abel and Danilo traveled
by bus, boat, and jeepney for two days to arrive on this island, and will be
there all this week. Please keep them in your prayers.

Vacation Bible School time is now starting in the Philippines! On Negros,
over 3,000 kids are expected to attend. VFM is helping each church with
about $.40 per child for materials and food. Pray for VBS to be an
effective outreach for the church and the parents.

Pray for Rona, a young pastor’s wife that must have a C-section. Rona and
her husband Paul, minister at a very small church on Negros, and needed some
help with medical expenses.

Vallermosa is getting a new church building in April. Last year we helped
buy the land and the members are preparing for a church building team from
World Mission Builders to arrive. This group will be there for a week and
will complete the building for the church during that time. Pray for the
safety of those traveling there and for this project.

Praise God for our new web site, www.takeitglobal.com/vfm. We are so
thankful for Emily Combs and Terry Sacket who have spent many hours working
on this site and are making changes every day.

Thank you for your prayers for Mary. She will be returning to work on Monday
and has been released from the doctor with complete recovery.
